Burne Hogarth - Dynamic Anatomy

Welcome

Andrew Barker became bored whilst studying Engineering at Melbourne University and started to doodle in his notebook. This soon lead to frustration as a lack of talent and the unforgiving nature of pen and ink contained his creative side. With a keen interest in computers for work and for play he quickly found ways to express himself using digital tools. After finishing his degree, working, travelling the world and becomming disheartened he decide to nourish his long starved creative side and headed back to university to study graphic design. His eye was sparked by everything around him, from the posters and billboards to the graffiti and signage all around Melbourne he was hooked.

This website is primarily in existence to show off my wares. I feel a little awkward in posting it as I don't know that I like the idea of being a commodity but it seems in this world that if you want to further yourself you've got to self yourself. So thanks to a thirst for knowledge, some dogged determination and much torn out hair I'm uploading a page about me. Not the social networking me, there's sites for that already, this is the creative and hard working me. The trained in Geomatics Engineering with a brain for 3D and spatial understanding me. So please feel free to have a look through the gallery. This is likely to undergo massive change in the ensuing months as I upload design work and reworkings of existing models. And hopefully I'll have the time to create something new. I'd really like to put together a photo realistic modern piece of architecture so we'll see what time allows.
